For all concrete whether the traditional gray or decorative the maintenance includes pressure washing and sealing every few years. The frequency will depend on the how high of traffic area it is to cars, water and any chemicals the concrete is exposed to. Before and After Decorative Concrete Driveway
Asphalt Driveways:
The most important aspect of a long lasting asphalt driveway is the base. The asphalt itself can only reach a maximum of 4” in depth, making it imperative that there is a good sound base to support the weight put onto the asphalt. We install the base just as we would a concrete driveway. Depending on the existing base, we install 2”-6” of recycled concrete and power tamp to give the driveway maximum support.
